Ellen Dong - After graduating from McMinnville High School, I plan to study journalism as well as potentially data science at Boston University. Using my skills in writing and reporting, I intend to continue to cover issues regarding Asian American life in the US. Throughout high school, I've been part of my school's Speech and Debate program, and I've been working with The Oregonian as a freelance youth writer for the past year to cover Oregon local stories. What matters most to me is being able to amplify voices that have all too often been left out of the wider conversation, and if I'm able to do that through journalism, then I think I'll be fulfilled.

Nicole Huang - I plan to attend the University of Washington in the Fall to study engineering.

Violet Meyers - I will attend the University of Kansas and major in Exercise Science.
