Our 2020 Programs

1.) Fred G. Lee 2020 Memorial Scholarship Application
 

The Portland Lodge of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.) is pleased to announce that the 2020 scholarship application is now available.


Three scholarships will be awarded. One (1) $4,000 Scholarship; the award is $1000 per year, renewable for four undergraduate years. Two (2) $1000 Scholarships; the award is $1000, issued at the freshman year level. At least one of the three scholarships will be awarded to a student who attends a college in Oregon or Washington State. The eligible scholarship territory is Clark County (State of Washington) and Oregon high school graduating seniors. Chinese Ancestry is not a requirement for this scholarship.  The deadline date for the application is April 1, 2020. Download the application here.

  

 

2.) David Lee Quan 2020 Memorial Scholarship

 

A $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving applicant majoring in the medical or science profession. The deadline date for this application is April 1, 2020.  Download the application here

 

3.) Tiffany Wang 2020 Arts Scholarship

Two students will be selected to each receive $500 towards a summer arts program.
These arts scholarships are offered for (1) pre-college student (grades 9-11) who are interested in attending a summer arts program, (2) demonstrated financial need and (3) talent in the fine or performing arts.


Tiffany Wang Arts Scholarship Applications are due by April 11, 2020.

4.) National Essay Contest 2020 - Top Prize: $1000.00

 

Date: Saturday, March 7, 2020, commencing at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 11:30 a.m. (computer laptop participants) or 12:00 p.m. (Blue Book participants)
