The Mid- Autumn Festival is coming up! This is a very important festival in Chinese culture. Learn more about this festivity by learning to make traditional Chinese moon-cakes! Mooncakes are eaten during the festival and include a pastry with a thin skin that is filled with various fillings along with a salted duck egg yolk (which represent the moon).
For this class, the instructor will teach the student to make two type of fillings; lotus bean paste and azuki bean paste. Student will take home a box of approximately 1/2 dozen moon cakes.
